Georgia imposes temporary restrictions on passage of all vehicles towards Upper Lars checkpoint 

The movement of all types of vehicles through the Kazbegi customs checkpoint will be prohibited from September 18 to October 2 from 6 to 9 a.m. (local time) as Georgia introduces restrictions on the passage of all vehicles towards the Upper Lars checkpoint. 

The reason for the restrictions is reconstruction and modernization of the customs checkpoint. During the remaining hours, passage will be carried out as usual.
