Armenian community of Russia’s Armavir joins Komitas’ Armenia flash mob

 
The Hovhannisyan University of Arts and Literature initiated a flash mob called “Komitas’ Armenia” to mark the 155th anniversary of the outstanding Armenian composer, poet, musicologist, arranger, singer, and choirmaster Komitas Vardapet, reports the Union of Armenians in the Russian city of Armavir.

The Union also took part in the flash mob and prepared a video. The folk vocal and dance ensemble at the Armavir Armenian National Culture Center bears the name of the great Komitas.
