Russia regrets continued ‘freezing’ of Armenia’s activity in CSTO — Maria Zakharova

 
Russia expresses regret over the continued “freezing” of Armenia’s activities in the CSTO and welcomes the country’s active participation in the EAEU, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

“It is up to the state itself to determine what is important and what it needs, but we believe that the CSTO is as beneficial in the security sphere as the EAEU is in the economic sphere. We do not see any obstacles to cooperation with Armenia within the framework of these two structures,” Zakharova said.
