Armenian schoolchildren win prizes at World Aykikendo Karate Championship in Germany

 
Schoolchildren from the Gegharkunik region returned with prizes from the World Aykikendo Karate Championship in Germany. 

On October 3-8, the team of the Armenian Aykikendo Karate Federation took part in the WFMC World Championship held in Frankfurt, with four young athletes from the Gegharkunik region competing. 

Grigor Safaryan, 7, a student of H. Ghazaryan Primary School of Dzoragyugh village of Martuni community, won the world champion title; Khachik Khlghatyan, 8, from the same school, became the bronze medalist. 

Narek Asatryan, 13, and Khachik Asatryan, 12, students of the Gavar Sports School from Gandzak village, returned home with silver medals.
