Armenian khachkar consecrated in Netherlands

On October 19, the blessing and consecration of the Armenian khachkar (cross-stone) were performed in the courtyard of St. Nikoghayos Church in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, under the leadership of the pontifical legate of Western Europe, Archbishop Khajag Barsamian.

The ceremony was attended by the spiritual pastor of the Holy Spirit Church in Amsterdam, Priest Taron Tadevosyan, and the spiritual pastor of Saint Karapet Church in Maastricht, Priest Astvatsatur Sargsyan.

The author of the khachkar is artist Artak Hambardzumyan.
