Trump slams Kamala Harris for her inaction during forced displacement of 120,000 Artsakh Armenians

Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump released a statement strongly condemning the Biden-Harris administration for the ethnic cleansing of Armenians, the indigenous people of Artsakh.
Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for failing to act as 120,000 Armenian Christians were persecuted and displaced. In his statement, Trump emphasized his commitment to protecting persecuted Christians and promised to restore peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan if elected president.
“Kamala Harris did NOTHING as 120,000 Armenian Christians were horrifically persecuted and forcibly displaced in Artsakh. Christians around the World will not be safe if Kamala Harris is President of the United States. When I am President, I will protect persecuted Christians, I will work to stop the violence and ethnic cleansing, and we will restore PEACE between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
It should be noted that this statement was released a month after the publication of a pro-Armenian statement by Harris-Walz, which emphasized the right of Armenians to return to their native Artsakh. Despite the pro-Armenian statements of both candidates, the 44-day war launched by Azerbaijan occurred under the Trump administration, and the subsequent blockade, which resulted in ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of Artsakh residents, occurred under the Biden-Harris administration.
