Border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a good sign of progress, says Putin

The process of demarcation and delimitation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a good sign of progress towards a peace treaty, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the closing session of the BRICS Plus/Outreach Summit.

“It is very pleasant to note that the process of border demarcation and delimitation has begun, and this is a sure way to a truly peaceful treaty. The fact that you managed to exchange views with the President of Azerbaijan during our work today is already a positive sign for our today’s event,” the Russian leader told Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The BRICS Summit is taking place on October 22-24 in Kazan, Russia.
