Jorge Macri, the Chief of Government of Buenos Aires, visited the TUMO Center in Lisbon on October 28, ahead of the inauguration of the project in the city.
Through his social media accounts, Macri expressed his enthusiasm for the project.
“We were able to see how the TUMO Center works in Lisbon, an innovative space where young people develop technical skills in robotics, animation, design, music and many other fields. This is a unique educational model that promotes creativity and works as a complement to school for children and teenagers,” he said.
He also thanked journalist María Belén Ludueña for her collaboration in this initiative, highlighting that the goal is to provide young people with “another tool to learn, create and dream big.”
Jorge Macri shared a video in which he talked about the vision behind TUMO Buenos Aires.
“This will be in Buenos Aires very soon. Today we were touring the Armenian TUMO Center in Lisbon, which we are taking to Argentina so that children and young people, outside of school, can design their career and incorporate the world of technology and art into their lives,” he said.
