Despite the agreement between Armenia and Turkey on the normalization of relations without preconditions, Ankara continues to link this normalization with the peace process between Yerevan and Baku, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told local media.
According to him, the relations between Armenia and Turkey will be normalized after the signing of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Fidan added that Turkey considers peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan an important element in ensuring stability in the South Caucasus.
“We provide our maximum support to reaching agreements and are happy to see that the sides are coming close to it,” Fidan said.
