Senators Ed Markey and Sheldon Whitehouse express support for Artsakh people and their right to return

US Senators Ed Markey and Sheldon Whitehouse supported Armenia and defended the right of Artsakh people to return, answering a question from an Azerbaijani journalist during a press conference at COP29 in Baku.

“Senator Markey and I support Armenia, both of us. We are very regretful that the dislocation of so many Armenians has taken place. To put it mildly, I’m far from convinced that Armenians are to blame for that,” Senator Whitehouse said.
