Turkey urges Armenia and Azerbaijan ‘not to miss historic opportunity’ to achieve piece in South Caucasus

Peace in the South Caucasus is closer today than ever before, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said on Thursday.

He urged Armenia and Azerbaijan “not to miss this historic opportunity”.

“We welcome Armenia’s choice in favor of peace and stability. With peace and stability in the South Caucasus, not only humanitarian issues will be resolved, but conditions will also be created for trade, interaction, and development,” Fidan said.
