Play ‘Journey to Armenia’ to be performed in Italy

Italian actor Silvio Castiglioni will present a solo performance about the journey of renowned Russian poet Osip Mandelstam to Armenia. The event is scheduled for March 18, 19 and 20 at the Gallery of the Catholic Cross, as part of the Teatri di Pistoia festival in Tuscany.

Osip Mandelstam visited Armenia in 1930. He later paid tribute to a country that inspired him through a series of beautiful poems and his prose work, “Journey to Armenia.”
