Food prices continue to rise in Armenia

In the first quarter of 2025, prices have increased in 7 out of 12 food categories in Armenia, the Armenian Business Portal reports.

The most significant price hikes were observed in vegetables (up 18.1%), coffee, tea, and cocoa (up 15.8%), fish and seafood (up 15.6%), oils and fats (up 12.5%), soft drinks (up 10.4%), fruits (up 6.1%), and bread and cereals (up 1.5%).

At the same time, prices decreased for sugar (down 5.3%), dairy products and eggs (down 3.2%), meat (down 0.7%), and confectionery (down 1.5%).
