Police officer dismissed following incident with journalist during protest

A police officer involved in an incident with a journalist during a protest has been dismissed from duty, Armenian Interior Ministry spokesperson Narek Sargsyan announced on Facebook.

“Dear citizens, respected media colleagues, I inform you that the police officer involved in today’s incident on Ashtarak highway between law enforcement and a journalist has been removed from service,” he said.
