Tornado in Aparan: damage reported

A tornado struck the town of Aparan in Armenia’s Aragatsotn region yesterday, causing destruction.

Four citizens sought medical help with minor injuries. The Aragatsotn Governor’s Administration reported that three of the injured are adults, one is a child. All received appropriate medical care, and their lives are not in danger.

It should be noted that residential buildings and stores were damaged in the town, with strong winds tearing roofs off houses and uprooting trees. It is also reported that there is no electricity and gas in the regional center of Aragatsotn.
