Overnight strikes by Iran and Israel

Both sides launched heavy missile strikes overnight, causing destruction and civilian deaths.

The Israeli Air Force targeted key military installations in Iran, including ammunition depots and drone control centers. In response, Tehran fired approximately 80 ballistic missiles at Israel, aiming at strategic sites. Additionally, Israel’s air defense systems intercepted around 30 drones directed at military bases. Despite this, reports indicate widespread destruction and major fires in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Amid the escalation, Western countries have called for an immediate ceasefire. China has advised its citizens to leave Israel, while Washington is preparing for talks with both sides. Egypt and Turkey have expressed concern and offered mediation.
