Washington supports efforts to promote peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan

The United States supports efforts to promote peace and stability in the South Caucasus, Spokesperson Tammy Bruce said when asked about a possible link between Secretary Marco Rubio’s recent remarks and the Armenia-Azerbaijan meeting in Abu Dhabi.

“We also are tracking the referenced press reports in general and don’t have any additional information to share. But as you know also, I think the Trump Administration and Secretary Rubio’s approach speaks for itself, and his remarks at the cabinet meeting is that this is an administration working for peace,” she said.
