Azerbaijani forces shell construction equipment in Syunik

Armenian Defense Ministry has reported shelling of construction equipment in Syunik.

“On August 4, at approximately 1:10 p.m., units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on an excavator engaged in construction work on inter-position roads, located 4,500 meters northeast of the Verishen settlement in the Syunik Province.

There were no casualties reported.

We urge the Azerbaijani side to conduct an investigation into the shelling and to provide public explanations,” the statement reads.
