The roads will be unblocked on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity and jurisdiction, Armenian National Assembly Vice Speaker Ruben Rubinyan said on Facebook, commenting on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to Washington and possible signing of documents during a meeting with US President Donald Trump and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“Any agreement Armenia enters into will include:

🔹 unblocking on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity and jurisdiction. That is, in our case, all roads and infrastructure passing through Armenia will remain fully under our sovereignty and jurisdiction, within our territorial integrity, and everything will operate in accordance with our legislation;

🔹 unblocking on the basis of reciprocity. In other words, if the roads are opened for Azerbaijan, they will be opened for Armenia as well—with mutual benefits.

That is the truth. There is no need to pay attention to the cries dictated from outside. And genuine concerns will be dispelled once additional official information is provided,” he said.
