Speaking with Alpha News, Iranian journalist Khayal Muazzin commented on Iran’s position on the Trump Route. According to the expert, Tehran views this corridor not as a regional one, but as a strategic factor directly tied to its sovereignty and security.

“Different views within Iran on the Zangezur corridor are understandable. In any major strategic project affecting national security and foreign policy, there are always supporters and critics. However, it is worth emphasizing that the overwhelming majority consider this route vital for Iran in the context of the formation of a new world order, when key transit corridors determine the position of the state. Ownership or control over such highways can make the country one of the leading powers of the new world order,” Muazzin said.

According to the expert, those in Iran who believe in the possibility of cooperation with the West will soon be convinced that the hegemony of the United States and its allies is not feasible.

“Zionist and Western actors must understand that Tehran views this corridor not as a regional one, but as a strategic factor tied directly to sovereignty and security. And those in Iran who believe in the possibility of cooperation with the West on this matter will soon see that the dominance of the United States and its allies is not feasible. We are only at the beginning of events and the final word will rest with Iran,” Muazzin concluded.
