Two noteworthy developments expected in coming days – Samvel Karapetyan

Samvel Karapetyan’s Defense Council posted an online statement from the philanthropist, noting that interesting developments are expected in the coming days.

“Dear compatriots, two noteworthy developments are expected in the coming days. First, tomorrow there will be a court hearing on my unlawful detention. This is not only my personal issue. The decision that will be made at this hearing will reveal whether justice exists in Armenia. Are the judges ready to fulfill their duties with dignity, or are they willing to discredit themselves for the benefit of a small group? Many will say that the answer is obvious—but let’s wait and see.

Second, we will soon introduce to the public the ‘Our Way’ movement. This initiative is based on clear ideas with big plans for Armenia.

Our goals include:

• developing the economy;
• creating real opportunities for business and enrichment;
• strengthening family and national values;
• restoring Armenia’s reputation as a reliable partner;
• ensuring the right of Artsakh people to a dignified life;
• restoring young people’s faith in the future by developing the education system;
• supporting and protecting our Holy Church.

The ‘Our Way’ movement will serve as the foundation for a new political force—one that everyone needs today. Our plans remain unchanged. We will continue to do it our way,” Karapetyan said in a statement.
