Filming begins for new Armenian project ‘Legacy of Heroes: Chronicles of Three Wars’

On August 27, the Yerevan National team launched production of a new Armenian series titled “Legacy of Heroes: Chronicles of Three Wars.”

The series is dedicated to the warriors of the Artsakh wars, with each episode telling the personal story of one of them. The project opens with an episode about the legendary fighter and national hero of Armenia and Artsakh, Monte Melkonian.

Under the direction of filmmaker Isaak Karslian, the team aims to portray the true spirit of Armenians who stood up to defend their land, families, and people during the most difficult periods in history.

Today, as questions of national identity and the preservation of heroic memory grow increasingly urgent, this project takes on special significance. It not only commemorates acts of valor but also highlights the strength of the Armenian spirit, loyalty, and devotion to the homeland.
