We are masters of this region, not guests or invaders – Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan released a new statement on his Facebook page regarding the country’s role in the region.

“For centuries, we have ruled the lands where those attacking us arrived only two or three generations ago. Wherever our flag flies, we bring peace and tranquility. In this region, we are not guests or invaders—we are the masters. We have been here for a thousand years, and, God willing, we will remain here until Judgment Day,” he wrote.

According to Erdogan, all plans directed against Turkey are doomed to fail.

“Imperialist and Zionist bloodthirsty forces will not achieve their treacherous goals. With God’s help, we possess the strength and foresight to thwart any plan,” he added.

Erdogan also emphasized the importance of national unity and solidarity: “As 86 million people, we will once again foil these plans, firmly relying on our brotherhood, unity, and harmony.”

He called for maintaining a language of tolerance and compassion, affirming that Turkey “will reach its goal of becoming a country free from terrorism.”
