CIS Heads of State Summit kicks off in Dushanbe

The summit of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) has commenced at the Palace of the Nation in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The meeting opened with a ceremonial photo session.

The summit is being held behind closed doors.

Participating in the session are the leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.
