Speaking with Alpha News, political analyst Robert Margaryan stated that the Nobel Peace Prize laureate will soon be announced, and the August document will lose its relevance for the United States.

“The US must develop a new interest, because instead of those 30 kilometers, they now have a longer and more advantageous route. Not only Turkey and Azerbaijan are using it, but Iran and China can also benefit from it. The US needs to take this into account,” the expert said.

When asked whether the initialing of this document could hinder new political forces from implementing their programs once in power, Margaryan said, “President Kocharyan clearly explained that initialing is meaningless. This document does not resemble a final agreement, as we see gaps and unfilled sections. I believe Azerbaijan deliberately avoided final signing—it left itself room for possible retreat in the future.”

According to him, future authorities will have to do significant work to prevent the implementation of such a version of the agreement.
