The British Library in London has launched an exhibition titled Britanahay: Armenian & British, open to visitors from October 6 to February 22, 2026.

Hosted in the Library’s Treasures Gallery, the exhibition explores centuries-old connections between the Armenian and British peoples. It highlights both historical parallels and the contemporary life of the Armenian community in the UK, as well as the British interest in Armenian culture and heritage.

Among the rare exhibits are the first Armenian book printed in London in 1736, Movses Khorenatsi’s History of the Armenians, a 15th-century French manuscript describing the meeting between King Levon V of Cilicia and King Richard II, and works by Ida Kar, a 20th-century British photographer of Armenian descent.
