Karen Chukhadzhian scores knockout victory over Argentine fighter Mafauad

Ukrainian boxer of Armenian descent Karen Chukhadzhian confidently returned to his winning ways by knocking out Argentine Joel Marcos Mafauad in the second round.

The bout took place on October 11 in Riga, Latvia, and was the main event of the boxing evening broadcast on DAZN.
This victory marked Chukhadzhian’s first early stoppage in nearly two years—his previous knockout was in October 2023 against Pietro Rossetti.

Chukhadzhian ranked in the top 6 by the IBF and top 4 by the WBO. He hopes to re-enter the race for a world title in the near future.
