Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is frightened, but he must understand that Armenia does not belong to him, Mourad Papazian, member of the ARF Bureau and co-chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF), said in an interview with Alpha News.
“He knows he has become a minority in the country, and that the upcoming elections are extremely dangerous for him. He has turned Armenia into a dictatorship, a police state. Pashinyan wants his own church, his own Catholicos, his own mayors, his own MPs, his own diaspora, his own people. But Pashinyan must understand that Armenia does not belong to him—Armenia is not his home,” he said.
According to Papazian, Pashinyan’s actions are dividing Armenian society.
“He simply wants to save his regime. Pashinyan is not working for Armenia—he is working for his regime. Will the Armenian people accept this? Absolutely not,” he added.
