During his address at the 8th Paris Peace Forum, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that, as of today, there are no major obstacles to opening the Armenian-Turkish border and establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.
He noted that a positive dialogue has already taken shape between Yerevan and Ankara, and that “the normalization process is progressing steadily.”
“I believe it will happen—the only question is how soon. We are approaching a stage where we will have full diplomatic relations, open borders, economic and political cooperation, and become normal neighbors,” Pashinyan said, once again stressing that the establishment of relations and the opening of the border is a matter of time.
