Fastest step that can be taken thanks to ‘Trump Route’ is to build power lines and gas pipeline – Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, during talks in Copenhagen, agreed that that perhaps the fastest step that can be taken thanks to the “Trump Route” is the construction of power transmission lines and a gas pipeline.

“This was a preliminary discussion, and in the course of further talks it will become more concrete and clear,” Pashinyan said at the Crossroads of Peace: Developing Regional Communications and Cooperation conference.

He added that nothing prevents the implementation of this project.

“All problematic issues have been resolved in the Washington Declaration; all that remains is to fulfill the agreement, and no one has any motivation to avoid fulfilling it,” said the Armenian Prime Minister.

According to him, the “Trump Route” is the final result of the peace process and an important reason for achieving lasting peace. Pashinyan declared that the “Trump Route” is “a project that benefits everyone and brings advantages to all.”
