‘We will continue our fight for dignity and a new era in our way’ – Samvel Karapetyan

A message from Samvel Karapetyan was published on his Facebook page, in which he called on the Armenian people not to despair and to continue the struggle in the name of justice, dignity, the defeat of evil, and the beginning of a new era.

“Dear compatriots, I thank you for the immense support I have received from you in recent days. Whether on the streets—at rallies, outside the courthouse, showing unity—or at home, watching the screen and awaiting justice, your support is tangible, priceless, and obliges me. I understand how concerned and disappointed you are by the blatant lawlessness and cynical judicial processes taking place these days.

Today I address you with one appeal: do not despair. Do not think that a small group of people has achieved a positive result. By trampling on sacred values, filling prisons, seizing property, and trying to create an atmosphere of fear—you may cling on to power for at most six more months, but you will not hold the country, you will not restore the dignity of the nation, you will not improve the lives of its citizens, you will not solve the problems of the state.

Determination is a trait of our people, whose history has known many difficult periods. But we have always overcome hardships and continued our path—despite all the efforts of our enemies. So it will be now, do not doubt it. In just a few months we will be congratulating each other on the victory of justice, the restoration of dignity, the defeat of evil, and the beginning of a new era—an era of prosperity and peace for Armenia. So we will continue our fight and move toward unconditional victory in Our Way,” the message reads.
