Armenian Foreign Ministry’s agenda does not include withdrawal from CSTO – Mnatsakan Safaryan

During a briefing in the National Assembly, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan announced that the format of Armenia’s participation in the CSTO has already been defined: the country does not take part, but it also does not obstruct the adoption of decisions or documents.

“At this stage, our policy is as follows. Armenia conducts its foreign policy based on its own interests and in line with the evolving situation. It has been announced both as a policy of diversification and as a policy of balance. Armenia makes its own decisions, and if there is additional information, we will share it,” he said.
