Film about lawyer Armen Merjan to be screened at DOC NYC

Amelia Hanibelsz’s documentary short “The Good Fight: Armen vs. Giuliani”, dedicated to civil rights lawyer Armen Merjian, will be screened at the DOC NYC 2025 film festival.

The film tells the story of Merjan’s relentless battle for justice and dignity for the most marginalized and disadvantaged communities of New York.

DOC NYC 2025 runs through November 30 in Manhattan and online. The program features more than 200 films, including both feature-length and short films.
