A spiritual gathering will take place at the Artsakh Diocese, Artsakh lawyer Roman Yeritsyan told PastInfo.
As previously mentioned, Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan, head of the Artsakh Diocese, participated in a meeting with Nikol Pashinyan and effectively joined Pashinyan’s campaign against the Catholicos of All Armenians.
On November 30, a rally was held outside the Artsakh Diocese building, demanding that Bishop Abrahamyan meet with the people and apologize for his meeting with Pashinyan. However, he refused to receive the protesters.
Yeritsyan told Pastinfo that a meeting is scheduled today at the Diocese.
“According to my information, there will be a spiritual gathering, and an appeal will be addressed to Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan,” Yeritsyan noted, adding that depending on the results, a decision will be made on further actions.
“I will not leave this matter as it is and will organize a larger rally. We will demand that Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan meet with the people of Artsakh,” Roman Yeritsyan emphasized.
