Electricity tariffs must be reduced, this is justified demand – Gohar Meloyan

The “Our Way” movement has launched a petition calling for a reduction in electricity tariffs.

So far, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) has left unanswered the application regarding lowering electricity tariffs, movement member Gohar Meloyan announced at a press conference.

“Therefore, we are starting a nationwide petition. The petition is a mechanism to implement the key institutions of public oversight and accountability established during the 2015 constitutional reforms,” Meloyan said.

She added that the demand is justified. “Winter is ahead, electricity tariffs must be reduced right now,” Meloyan emphasized.
