Armenia seeks EU support to prevent external interference – Kaja Kallas

The European Union (EU) foreign ministers will discuss Armenia at today’s meeting, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, told reporters on Monday.
Parliamentary elections are scheduled to take place in Armenia next year. During the meeting, ministers will consider how they can support Armenia in this process. According to Kallas, Armenia has requested EU assistance to prevent external interference.
Kallas previously stated that Russia has intensified its disinformation campaign ahead of Armenia’s 2026 parliamentary elections.
