Pensioners know well how to spend their money, residents said during a survey conducted in Tavush.

“They tell the pensioner: there should be no cash, only cards. But many pensioners are unable to leave their homes—what should they do with a card? Whom can they trust? Nowadays, people don’t even trust their relatives,” noted one resident.

According to the respondents, pensioners know well how to spend and where to spend. “We are people burdened with countless pains and worries,” said another citizen.

Ijevan residents emphasized that raising pensions is a vital necessity, since everything has become more expensive. “Prices have doubled, tripled, but pensions have remained the same,” they said.
