During a survey conducted in Yeghegnadzor, residents were asked whether they believed the authorities had purchased weapons worth $8 billion, as announced in the National Assembly by Nikol Pashinyan.
One resident said: “How is that possible if the military budget has been reduced?”
The residents expressed doubt that such a large quantity of weapons had been acquired.
Another respondent noted that if we had weapons, we wouldn’t have lost: “If there is peace, why are they buying $8 billion worth of weapons? These are contradictory statements. If military service has been shortened by six years, then who are the weapons for — to hand them to the Turks?”
