Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin was summoned to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, where he was handed a note of protest expressing deep indignation over the statements made by Russian TV host Vladimir Solovyov, spokesperson Ani Badalyan reported to Armenpress.

“The Russian ambassador to Armenia was summoned to the Foreign Ministry and given a note of protest expressing deep indignation regarding the statements made during a program broadcast on a state television channel. It was emphasized that these statements constitute an unacceptable encroachment on the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia, a hostile act, and a gross violation of the fundamental principles of friendly relations between Armenia and Russia,” the Foreign Ministry spokesperson noted.

Russian TV host and journalist Vladimir Solovyov stated that “the loss of Armenia does not serve Russia’s interests, and Russia must conduct special military operations not only in Ukraine but also in territories within its sphere of influence, disregarding international law.”
