Those who went to Baku are traitors – survey

Months ago, representatives of Armenia’s civil society traveled to Azerbaijan to discuss certain issues related to the peace agenda. This topic continues to remain at the center of public debate.

During a survey conducted in the Vayots Dzor region, participants questioned how those people could go to Baku while our compatriots are being tortured in captivity there.

“I believe this step was a mistake. They should not have gone until Azerbaijan released all our prisoners,” one respondent noted.

People emphasized that those individuals have no moral right to discuss issues concerning the nation, since they are traitors, and after going there, at the very least, they should not have returned.
