Zero results for Armenia, arms for Azerbaijan – Margaryan on US Vice President’s visit

The main beneficiary of US Vice President JD Vance’s regional visit is Azerbaijan, political analyst Robert Margaryan told Alpha News.
According to him, while in Armenia the discussion is limited to promises and possible cooperation regarding a nuclear power plant, with Azerbaijan “the conversation clearly concerns military cooperation and arms supplies.”
“For many years Azerbaijan was under a US ban on arms sales, but as a result of the policies pursued by Nikol Pashinyan, that ban has been lifted,” the expert said.
The political analyst emphasized that today Azerbaijan is free to arm itself, and “it is not difficult to understand against whom those weapons will be directed.” The most likely target, according to Robert Margaryan, is Armenia—a consequence of the current authorities’ failed diplomacy.
