Samvel Karapetyan’s ultimate goal is for Armenian society to live with dignity – Hayk Farmanyan
Today, our country faces a very high level of poverty, and pensions are extremely low, Hayk Farmanyan, member of the “Our Way” movement council, said in an interview with Alpha News.
“People are barely managing under the burden of consumer loans. Based on this, we recently published Samvel Karapetyan’s five economic steps, which will lead Armenia toward becoming a strong state. In other words, we will have a strong Armenia, with the clear aim of reducing poverty and unemployment in our country,” Farmanyan said.
According to him, the ultimate goal of Samvel Karapetyan and his team is for Armenian society to live a dignified and good life.
Referring to movement coordinator Narek Karapetyan’s statement about creating 300,000 new jobs, Farmanyan emphasized:
“We consider the creation of these jobs realistic. Unfortunately, for many years this has been one of the country’s main problems. Without decent work, most people emigrate, trying to earn money in other countries. This is evidenced by the huge remittances we receive mainly from Russia and the United States. In other words, people either leave their families and emigrate, or barely survive here. This is the reality we face.”
