Russia continues to be Armenia’s leading trading partner: in 2025, more than one-third of Armenia’s exports went to Russia—nearly $3 billion, Russia’s trade representative in Armenia, Sergey Solomin, said during the “Eurasian Dialogue. Armenia” organized by the Gorchakov Fund in Yerevan.

According to him, Armenia’s total foreign trade turnover exceeded $21 billion, of which $8.2 billion was with EAEU countries. Solomin emphasized that Eurasian cooperation today extends beyond trade in goods: it includes industrial cooperation, technological and IT projects, joint educational programs, the development of digital services and platforms, participation in cross-border production chains, and the creation of new logistics routes.
