We are pleased with historic agreement between Yerevan and Baku – Georgian PM

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that Tbilisi welcomes the signing of a historic agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“We are glad and pleased that a historic agreement has been signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” he said following the 15th session of the Armenia-Georgia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
According to Kobakhidze, these positive developments create a solid foundation for ensuring stability and peace in the region. In this context, he reiterated Georgia’s readiness to continue supporting peacebuilding efforts and strengthening stability.
Kobakhidze also highlighted the high level of cooperation between the two countries, stressing the partnership, friendship, and exemplary ties between the peoples of Armenia and Georgia. He noted that both sides bear responsibility to their states and citizens and must do everything possible to further deepen and strengthen friendly and partnership relations. In conclusion, he thanked Pashinyan for his contribution to developing and deepening of bilateral ties.
