“May my hand wither if I choose Nikol”: Poll in Lori

During a poll in Lori, residents of the region indicated they do not intend to vote for the current government in the upcoming elections.

They noted that they would never forgive the current government’s surrender of Artsakh and the deaths of thousands of young soldiers: “We must not forget the blood they shed… they were sent to be slaughtered.”

One of the survey participants said there can be no peace until the prisoners are returned. According to respondents, people fear that Armenia’s sovereign territories: Meghri, Goris, and other settlements – are in danger.

“May my hand wither if I choose Nikol. What peace are we talking about if they slaughtered and killed? Why don’t the authorities say there will be no peace until the prisoners are released? We need a free, independent Armenia,” said one respondent.
