Free education and higher teachers’ salaries are essential: Anna Grigoryan

The struggle we are waging today is for the sake of peers like Ariana, who came out to meet us in front of the building, so that we may truly have an Armenian state, a dignified state. So that none of us walks with our head down, neither in the Republic of Armenia nor among our compatriots living abroad. This was stated by Anna Grigoryan, a member of the “Armenia” faction, at a meeting with residents of the city of Razdan.

“This is what our struggle today is for, so that in a few months we are not forced to vote for a new Constitution ordered by Aliyev, so that this campaign against our Church comes to a definitive end, because we have disgraced ourselves before the entire world. The state that was the first to recognize Christianity is now running a campaign against its own faith, its own people, and its own Church. This is simply a disgrace. That is what our struggle is for. Our struggle is for our own identity, for our history,” she said.
