For every country and every government, the primary question is one of security. This was stated by Robert Kocharyan, the second president of Armenia and the “Armenia” bloc’s candidate for prime minister, at a meeting with residents of the city of Razdan.

According to him, the army is the most important component, but security also means sound policy, having strategic allies, the ability to make forecasts, and moving forward with precise calculations.

“Nikol Pashinyan and the Civil Contract party are saying on every platform that there will be war in September if they are not re-elected. That is their idea of peace. Essentially, for seven and a half months they were, to put it bluntly, patting our people on the head with talk of peace, and then it turned out that this peace is directly tied to the elections in Armenia, and that Ilham Aliyev will inevitably be the one to break it. Those are their arguments and their reasoning. What kind of peace is it that depends on the outcome of an election?” Robert Kocharyan said.
