Armenians living in northern Israel have been forced to leave their homes: Artyom Chernamoryan
The situation in Israel remains tense, particularly in the northern parts of the country. This was shared with Alpha News by Artyom Chernamoryan, editor-in-chief of the newspaper Israeli Armenians.
“In Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, the air raid siren sounded once during the night, but overall the situation in the north is far more severe,” Chernamoryan noted.
He reported that approximately 3,000 Armenians live in northern Israel, primarily in Haifa and the surrounding area, including communities near the Lebanese border. According to Chernamoryan, Armenians living in settlements close to the Lebanese border have been compelled to relocate to safer cities.
“People have moved to relatively safer localities, and today their daily lives are lived on a war footing,” he said.
