Tehran will retain control over the Strait of Hormuz during the declared ceasefire – Iran’s foreign minister

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi indicated that Tehran will maintain its control over the Strait of Hormuz during the two-week declared ceasefire.

According to his official statement, safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz during this two-week period will only be possible “subject to coordination with Iran’s armed forces and taking into account technical constraints.”
