Hearing underway at the Anti-Corruption Court in case of detainees from the “Strong Armenia” office in Artashat

A court hearing is currently underway at the Anti-Corruption Court in the case of seven citizens detained at the office of the “Strong Armenia” party in Artashat.

The court is deciding on a measure of restraint against them. It is known that house arrest has been imposed on Hasmik Amirzadyan, a member of the “Strong Armenia” party. Proceedings regarding the other members of the political force are ongoing.

The party stated that it views what is happening as a manifestation of fear on the part of the authorities and as clear political persecution.
